Hi, I'm Brett Wood, welcome to my photography world.
I'm another self-confessed photography addict, I just love it and it is my passion…
I have a burning passion for seeing and capturing beautiful landscapes and nature scenery from Australia, New Zealand, and the world, there is no better feeling than being out in nature taking photographs, and enjoying the beautiful scenery and the adventure.
Before becoming a full-time professional photographer my former career was in sales and operations in the construction equipment industry. I'm a born and bred country boy growing up in Wagga Wagga NSW Australia. I now reside on the NSW South Coast - Australia, where I live with my partner Lisa & our dog “Twizel”, Lisa also works with me & together we are a formidable team guiding all of our Landscape Photography Workshops. Sharing my time between Australia & New Zealand’s South Island. Having lived in New Zealand and with over 20 years of experience exploring and photographing it, I often call New Zealand “My spiritual home” and New Zealand workshops are my specialty.
I have a very calm & relaxed, friendly, easygoing nature and I really enjoy interacting with and teaching people. I get a real buzz seeing clients capturing beautiful photos.
I like to call my style of photography “Authentic”, I try to replicate the scene I saw with my eyes.
My other passions in life include fishing, traveling, family and my dog, anything outdoors, and exploring the culinary world.
My landscape photography workshops have continued to grow from strength to strength, guiding and teaching are definitely my strong points and passion, and I'd love to have you along on one of my workshops!
I don't do this job for money, I do it because I love it and I'm passionate about it, I really am living my dream.
