The first image from a shoot on a stormy spring afternoon in 2021’. We ventured out with the initial intention of following a storm front on the radar and hopefully to capture some storm and lightning photos. The weather closed in and we got some rain and no solid storm clouds or lightning photos. So I decided to wait it out in the car and hope that the conditions after the rained eased would improve towards sunset. The wait was well worth it as we experienced an amazing shoot leading towards sunset, capturing a series of brilliant photos with really moody and atmospheric weather and a cranky sea swell just topped it off for conditions us photographers drool over. This one is a personal favourite and will make a real talking point of a print mounted in your home.
