Still one of my all-time favourites, Crimson Skies was shot on a cold winters morning in the backcountry of the Mckenzie Region of New Zealand in 2018’. The cool tones with that real crimson hue are synonymous with the calm New Zealand winter dawn.

  We back the image with a white 2mm Dibond to add rigidity and use an aluminium sub frame to float it from the wall.

  Because of the different light penetration and refraction of acrylic glass compared to normal glass, the colours are more brilliant and the image sharper than compared to standard glass in a picture frame.
