Another image from the Winter in New Zealand of 2021’. Just a stunning month of world-class winter photography. This image has a great story behind it, this was the final morning of four consecutive days of heavy hoar frost and foggy atmospheric conditions, only minutes after this image was taken a weather change rolled in with some warm winds and within a matter of two minutes all the frost was blown away and melted totally transforming this very scene to stick figure trees. I felt very lucky to have not only witnessed this beautiful scene with the swans before a stunning backdrop, but to also have captured photos of it, a scene that will never be replicated again.
